The one problem, Lexi trusts no one. She's lived on the streets, survived on her own, and she's not about to be pampered. They know she's in danger and that she's safest with them. It's going to take some sneaky, dominant sexual tactics to convince Lexi she's where she belongs.

Nevvie, Tyler and Thomas are all very likable characters and their story was very good. I will note, this is not BDSM.
Were She Belongs (Siren Publishing Menage Amour)
There is an ongoing "role play" between the threesome that have them calling Nevvie their "love slave" and Tyler and Thomas are her "Masters" but that is the only thing remotely BDSM like and even then the "slave" is the one giving the orders part of the time. Nevvie was adopted as a baby. Her adoptive father died when she was 8 years old and her mother remarried a very strict and mean preacher who made it his aim to make Nevvie fall in to line.
Eventually they dumped Nevvie on a cousin and took off and she never saw her mother again. Nevvie was extremely smart in school and got a college scholarship but a bad situation messed up her life and she ended up out of school and moving across the country. She met Alex a boyfriend that's 18 years older than her and basically mooches off of her and can't figure out how to get away from him or take her life back.
Nevvie ends up working cleaning houses to bring in any money she can. Tyler is English but lives in America and is a famous writer. His family have never been very caring and he didn't get much approval or even emotion growing up. Tyler is bi and married 2 women and divorced them before he finally met Thomas 12 years ago and they got involved. Thomas is an award winning architect.
His father was an architect and Thomas spent a lot of time with his dad at his office and that stayed with him, prompting him to go in to the same field and love it. Thomas has 5 older sisters that he loves but didn't make things easy on him growing up. Thomas also is bi and dabbled in both men and women before meeting Tyler.
Tyler and Thomas have been involved for 12 years and live together as a married couple. Nevvie cleans their house for them every Thursday and has for the last 6 months when the story begins. The Thursday she comes over is her birthday and Thomas and Tyler go out of their way to make is special fro her. They've fallen for her and have spent the last 6 months looking forward to Thursdays because it's the day Nevvie comes to clean. They have noticed well, Tyler noticed because he's like The Brain to Thomas being Pinky that Nevvie doesn't seem too happy in her home life and seems to care for them even if she doesn't love them in return and they want to do whatever they can to help her.
They eventually hope to coax her in to becoming a permanent member of their relationship to make it a threesome but for now they just hope to get her out of her bad home life. They offer her a live-in position, working partially as a housekeeper and Tyler's assistant as well as helping out as Thomas's assistant at his Architect firm. Nevvie has spent the last 6 months falling hard for Thomas and Tyler They're nicer to her than anyone else has ever been and when they offer her a job and a place to stay she jumps at it.
She plans to pack up a few things and leave without Alex knowing but that doesn't happen and Tyler and Thomas end up saving the day. It takes time for Nevvie to recover from both the physical and emotional trauma that Alex put her through and Tyler and Thomas are so sweet and gentle with Nevvie. They take care of her and get her back up and on her feet. Once she's feeling well enough, Nevvie insists on getting to work and the guys ease her in to it, working with her to get her used to what she'll be working on now. She is a quick learner though and soon is being very helpful for both men and making their lives easier.
The men dote on her as well and spoil her rotten.
Overall, I was frustrated with the writing and the need for better editing. I had to re-read a number of sentences multiple times because the words were out of order or it was apparent it had been re-written without deleting a phrase. There is a disproportionate amount of build-up to the story compared with the wrap-up see below.

The romance is fine, but is not balanced each of Lexi's mates. Also, the ending was too neat and rushed.
The discovery of Lexi's past was rushed and is never fully explained to the reader. The reader is just expected to accept that everything has been explained to Lexi, who shares it with everyone else and everyone understands. However, so little detail is passed to the reader that I was left somewhat baffled as to why the "discovery" was so important or why I should care. Generally, it wasn't a bad book.
I felt frustrated, primarily because I felt the book didn't live up to its potential. It was not until I finished reading this book that I realized it was a prequel, of sorts, to the Men of Five-O series. Lexie's book was fantastic, and I am looking forward to reading the next two. For some reason Sabre's character was the hardest to like, yet he ended up being my favorite.
The interaction between the characters is what made the story flow and easy to read. When Lexie and her best friend reunite after being apart for so long, the reader can actually visualize the scene. A book truly worth reading. This book is the beginning of a great series. Not only Were's but Fey, goddesses and other creatures all in one series.
Read along as the world as we know it is in danger and must've saved. A definite Must Read.
